LOVE WOVEN IN DANCE
31st Danube Carnival Gala
The crowning event of the carnival is the gala performance every year, in the fabulous setting of the Margaret Island Open-Air Stage, a unique joint show by nearly 300 artists from foreign and Hungarian dance companies.
Love Woven into Dance is a unique folk dance performance that evokes the many faces of love through the dances and music of the world's peoples.
The artists of the Duna Art Ensemble and the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble will be joined by international dance and music ensembles arriving for the carnival to show how love weaves through national traditions and how dance becomes a common language that transcends borders and generations.
